India Bangladesh Friendship Celebration on 22 December, 2022

Assistant High Commission of India, Rajshahi celebrated India Bangladesh Friendship on 22 December, 2022 which was attended by Great freedom fighter and Cabinet Food Minister of Bangladesh, Shri Sadhan Chandra Majumdar as a chief guest, Bir Muktijoddha Mr Nowsher Ali, a renowned social activist Madam Shahin Akhtar Rainy, Mr. Md. Abu Kalam Siddique, Police Commissioner of Rajshahi and various dignitaries. The program was also attended by various teachers and students from Rajshahi and Rangpur Division including from Masjid Mission Academy School and College, Govt. promothnath Girls’ High School, Rajshahi, Rajshahi Bholanath Bisweswar Hindu Academy and Govt. Laboratory High School, Rajshahi.
In his speech honorable Food Minister acknowledged and admired the help received from people and government of India. He especially mentioned the then PM of India, Smt. #IndiraGandhi and the then leader of opposition Shri #AtalBihariVajpayeeJi. All the speakers expressed their gratitude to the people of India and acknowledged the extraordinary strong friendship between the two countries.
Cultural program including an act on freedom movement was performed by specially abled children from TMSS (Thengamara Mohila Sabuj Sangha) Autism and Disable School and Rehabilitation Center. The program was widely covered by local media.
