A curtain raiser event for the 10th International Day of Yoga 2024.
Under Special Campaign 3.0 for cleanliness Assistant High Commission of India - Rajshahi carried another event of Plantation of Sapling on 03 October, 2023 in Varendra Research Museum.
Under observance of Swachhata Hi Seva 2023 Campaign during (15th September-02nd October 2023) AHCI, Rajshahi participated in shramdaan today on “Swachhata Diwas - 1st October 2023. It started from Chancery premises and finished at Bhadra lake developed with the support of Government of India. The event was participated by all the staff of AHCI Rajshahi and local public. The event was covered by local media.
On 23 September 2023, High Commission of India in collaboration with the Department of Archeology of the Government of Bangladesh organised the premiere screening of the documentary film “Chinnapotra: Padma Pare Rabindranath” at Rabindra Kuthibari in Kushtia. The documentary film directed by Dr. Chanchal Khan, is a narration of the collection of letters that Gurudev Tagore wrote to his niece Indira Devi during his stay in Kuthibari from 1889-1895.
Assistant High Commission of Indian, Rajshahi organized a business meeting in cooperation with importers association of Sonamasjid land port on 18 September which was attended by all the concerned including BGB regional head, custom officers , C&F agents etc Fruitful discussion was held for further easing the movement of goods
Assistant High Commission of Indian, Rajshahi organized a business meeting on 19.09.2023 which was attended by various business professionals of Rajshahi and Rangpur Division. Mr. Sumonto Ghosh, CEO, SBI Dhaka presented an insightful presentation on trade in Indian Rupees.
A spectacular cultural evening of #jaisalmerbeats overwhelmed Rajshahi great audience on 06 September, the program organized by Rajshahi City Corporation with the support of Indian Council For Cultural Relations in the most prestigious auditorium with its full capacity of 800 audience. Glad to see so high level of enthusiasm and people dancing on the beat. The program was highly appreciated and widely covered by National TV and print media.
Assistant High Commission of Indian, Rajshahi celebrated #nationalsportsday2023 on August 29, 2023, with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to promote physical fitness aligning with theme for this year “Sports as an enabler for an inclusive and fit society" . Staff members actively participated in various sports and games. The diverse range of activities included tennis ball cricket, badminton, chess, plank challenge etc. AHC, Sh. Manoj Kumar administered ‘FIT India fitness pledge’. The pledge was taken by the AHCI staff member, their family and students of the college. The event was covered by local media.
Assistant High Commission of India, Rajshahi inaugurated an exhibition on "Partition Horrors Remembrance Day" today in the Chancery premises of AHCI, Rajshahi. The exhibition was inaugurated by Sh. Manoj Kumar, AHC, Dr. Samil uddin Ahmed, MP , Mr. Fazle Hossain Badsha, MP, & former State Minister Mrs. Zinatun Nesa Talukdar. The event was attended by various dignitaries like VC of North Bengal International University, former VC of Rajshahi University, Freedom fighters, local politicians, Business communities , journalists and students of various colleges. The exhibition will be displayed from 14-17 August, 2023. You all are cordially invited to take a look of the exhibition.
77th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervour . More than 250 persons including Indian students and officials and professionals participated in the flag hoisting ceremony. Shri Manoj Kumar, AHC also administered Panch Pran pledge to the Indian nationals. The vibrant cultural program based on patriotic songs was also performed by children of the officials of this Post and Indian students.
