The Assistant High Commission of India organized a Festival of Dance - “Nritto Utsov” on 11 January 2020 at the Bangladesh Shishu Academy Auditorium, Rajshahi. The festival showcased dances by young students who performed classical, folk and contemporary dances. Mrs. Shahin Akter Rainy wife of Rajshahi Mayor and prominent social activist and renowned music guru and 'Ekushe Padak' winner Pandit Amaresh Roy Chowdhury were also present. Around two hundred people attended the event which was widely covered in the local media.
