They shared their experiences of how these Courses immensely benefitted them in their professional careers and thanked the Government of India for its efforts in capacity building and human resource development in Bangladesh.   Sri Sri Kendriyo Loknath Mandir, Ganeshtala, Royshaheb Bari, Dinajpur organized a Yoga session in their premises on June 21, 2021 to celebrate #IDY2021.   On the occasion of 7th International Day of Yoga, Assistant High Commission of India in Rajshahi and Indian Council for Cultural Relations, in association with Quantum Foundation, organized a virtual session of Common Yoga Protocol on June 21, 2021. During his welcome address, Assistant High Commissioner, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Bhati highlighted how the celebration of IDY over the years has boosted Yoga’s popularity and converted it into a mass movement for health. Adviser of Quantum Foundation, Rajshahi, Prof. Dr. Manzurul Haque also spoke on the occasion and gave scientific reasons to underline the relevance of Yoga during the ongoing pandemic.   On the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2, which also marks the International Day of Non-Violence, the Assistant High Commission of India in Rajshahi organized a Blood & Plasma Donation Camp to help the community in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was graced by Mr. A. H. M. Khairuzzaman Liton, Honorable Mayor of the Rajshahi City Corporation as the Chied Guest. Ekushey Padak Awardee (second highest civilian award in Bangladesh) Pandit Amoresh Roy Chowdhury inaugurated the event and Dr. Chitta Ranjan Misra, Professor of the Department of History in University of Rajshahi gave a talk on Gandhiji's Ideology and Philosophy. The event which was organized with the support of doctors of Sandhani (a voluntary organization), was well appreciated by the local authorities and got wide coverage in the local media. - October 12, 2020
